How might we design a device or system that can tell us more about dolphin behavior underwater?
Idea origin: Cleaner fish or Remora
Concept: Design a cleaner fish or remora robot that can be remotely controlled and attached to dolphins with multiple cameras, small sample collecting arms, sensors (including thermo, sonar, depth and etc.), and GPS recorder and sender for locations. With active power generating capability by utilizing the flows of currents on the robot’s scales to recharge the onboard battery to allow the robotic remora to travel with the dolphins and collect data for research related to dolphins and the oceans.
