At KidMu.org (“We” or “KidsMu”), we want to create a family friendly place for families to share their children’s or teachers to share students’ creative drawings, paintings, pictures, and crafts (“the artworks” or “the creations”) for everyone to enjoy. So people around the world (with the help of the Internet), can see what children are creating everyday from this beautiful planet.

Just like visiting a museum where artists showcase their works to the public. KidsMu will show the creations by children with their creative minds.

Please take a moment to view the following terms when publishing or visiting KidsMu.org

Part 1. For Art Publishers (parents and teachers):

1.1 You (parents, guardians or teachers) will become the Publisher (the representative) of the creations of the children or students as you will be the person managing the shared contents on KidsMu.org and you will need an account on KidsMu.org in order to publish/share and manage the contents you uploaded.

–       All posts will be reviewed by the team of KidsMu.org after you submitted the art images. Do remember that KidsMu.org is a place for everyone to visit including family and children, if the image is not appropriate for young audiences the post will not be approved and will not be viewable on KidsMu.org. (See Part 3: About the Contents)

Any contents you submitted will be public once approved by KidsMu, and anyone could see the items on KidsMu.org.

1.2 You could use the initials or nicknames of creators in the content area by adding  in the first line to show who created the projects.

We ask you not to use their real names in full, as the information is public.

1.3 We would not be able to prevent others from using the artworks created by your children or students that you published on KidsMu.org. But we do ask the visitors to respect the creators copyright by linking back to the page of the creation. (see Part 2: For Museum Visitors)

1.4 As we want to let people from all over the world to see the creative artworks by children from different places (states/provinces/region, countries) from different age groups. (age groups from 0 to 11 year-old). You can add a general location information in the “Tag” area when you published or shared the creations on KidsMu.org. For example:

–       Add the Country name in the tag. So all the creations in the particular country will be displayed for visitors to see.

USA, France, Canada, Japan, Sweden

–       If you want to add State/Province/Region, that would be very beneficial for visitors (including children) to see what others in their country are creating when they are in different regions. Or even in the same regions as they are.

California or California, USA

However, like names of the creators, we ask you not to put your address in any part of the post, as again the information is public.
Part 2. For Museum Visitors:

2.1 You can visit KidsMu.org with or without an account. The benefit of having account with KidsMu.org will allow you to “Like” a creation so you can revisit the artworks you liked or discover new creations shared by the publishers.

2.2 If you are leaving comments (need to log in for commenting) for the artworks on KidsMu.org, please be kind and friendly as this is a family friendly site.

2.3 Please respect the rights of the creators of artwork on KidsMu.org by:

–       Adding the source with links back to the page where you discovered the artworks on KidsMu.org when you are writing a story or blog post.

–       Do not claimed to be the creators of the Artworks by copying the Artworks from KidsMu.org.

–       Using your common sense to make smart choices of not using the artworks by these creative children on sites that are not appropriate.

Part 3. About the Contents

KidsMu.org is providing a family and children friendly environment for everyone to enjoy the artworks created by the young artists, therefore the contents: including images, drawings, photos, crafts comments must be suitable and safe for children to view.

KidsMu’s team will approve or disapprove the contents submitted. Therefore please do not try to submit any contents that are not appropriate or unlawful as they will not be approved and will be removed from the site immediately.

We will issue one warning to the user, if the user found violating the “Contents” terms again the user account would be suspended and removed accordingly.

We hope everyone will understand the measures that KidsMu.org’s team is taking as we want to create a safe and enjoyable place for everyone to see what creations the young artists are making.

These are the most important terms that we would like everyone to know when using and visiting KidsMu.org.
